As an actor, Mirirai has had the privilege of telling stories through the mediums of theatre, television & film. But her newfound joy has come through facilitating the creation of other people's narratives as a director, producer, and mentor. Their goal is to empower artists to actively pursue their multi-dimensionality and intersectionality by helping them embrace all of their skills. At the heart of this mission is #JoyPractice: In order to sustain hard work and diligence (aka the hustle) amongst the constantly shifting energies of the universe, we must give time and credence to love, laughter and joy!

With the help of Human Connection Specialist Mark Groves and MOTU Summit, a womxn's group whose mission is to help womxn actualize their dreams, as well as a beautiful and affirming conversation with Jenna Clark Embrey of Salt Girl Consulting - Mirirai felt called to make AYE DEFY a space where she can consult, direct, and produce in conjunction with her acting career. She believes that through our various artistic skills, we can help make this world better by embracing all the parts of our selves!
